Chapter 01 — The Start
Two Kids and
a Parking Lot.
In 2012, two twenty-three-year-olds started Hydra Cup with one product and no safety net. When the factory dragged, we slept in our cars outside it and were waiting in the manufacturer's lot before he showed up. Same question every morning: what are we finishing today?
The Dual Shaker came out of that. Niche, but the people who got it really got it. That was the start.
Then we learned
the rest of it.
For years we sold shakers on Amazon and got good at the parts nobody brags about. Packaging. Value. Knowing what a customer actually wants out of the box. We've built close to a thousand prototypes by hand. Plenty failed. We kept the lessons. Fourteen years in, we know every inch of this industry, from the patent to the pallet.
A giant
came for us.
A decade in, one of the biggest names in the category buried us in lawyers, betting a smaller company would fold under the bill. We didn't. We're still standing. Coming for the people who don't ask permission tends to go that way.
Now we're back, heavier.
The weighted whisk is the renewed fire. For decades the shaker ball didn't change: a light wire coil, about fifteen grams, bouncing off your clumps instead of driving through them.
So we built ShakerShark, the first weighted-core whisk. A patented stainless core at about forty grams, nearly three times a standard ball, heavy enough to break through the powder instead of skating over it.
We put it in the bottle.
Still small. Lean on purpose. We don't torch the budget on a rented Lambo, a six-figure website, or an influencer reading a script. We figure it out ourselves, hands on every part, and put what we save back into the product and the price.
You get the better bottle without paying for someone else's flex.
Heavy Where
It Counts.
The first weighted-core whisk. Before the rest catch on.
